Monday In A Moment #53 | On Cooler Weather

MONDAY

1 :: Baby it’s cold outside – Seriously… what the heck? It’s the middle of August and yesterday I wore leggings, boots, a long sleeve shirt, coat and scarf. WOW. I get the feeling all in all that the seasons are changing for good this year… and super early. I am not a happy camper. While fall is my favorite season, this year I’m not ready to give up those long warm summer days full of endless wonder. Hopefully we’ll get a blast of warmth before August is over!

2 :: Just Yummy – I’ve been in a cooking rut lately… with my husband getting in shape for his PT test, we’ve be relatively boring in the food department. I’ve tried to spice it up as much as I can, but there are only so many ways you can make chicken, tilapia, and rice without adding too much salt or extra ingredients. So this week’s recipe picks are what I’m constantly dreaming of in my head and either haven’t tried or can’t try until next week. Enjoy! Don’t forget to follow my Yummay board on pinterest to catch all of the awesome recipe picks! 1) Sundried Tomato, Artichoke and Hummus Tartines via the Law Student’s Wife 2) Beet Risotto via The Law Student’s Wife 3) Summer Squash Soup with Herb Seeded Crispbread via With Food + Love 4) The Best and Easiest Homemade Salted Caramel Sauce via Avery Cooks 5) Sesame Chicken Potstickers via Damn Delicious 6) Teriyaki Salmon with Sriracha Cream Sauce via Damn Delicious
