1 :: A Wedding in France – About a month ago Dana received an email from an old college roommate inviting us to a wedding. We’ve received a number of wedding invitations since we’ve lived here in Germany and much to my chagrin we’ve had to turn them all down. Air fare across the world is expensive. Both D and I were shocked and dismayed to find out that this wedding was being held in the south of France in Montpellier. Did I mention that it’s one of the only cities Ryan Air flies to in the south of France? At this point D and I both knew we were meant to go. I am so psyched to be a part of this celebration. I’m slightly intimidated as my French is mediocre at best and I fear that my wardrobe is far to outdated to impress…. but I plan to make the most of it. Now I just have to remember to pack a handkerchief… I always cry at weddings. The groom saying his vows gets me every time! So congratulations to Josh and Bernadette! D and I wish you a beautiful life together!

4 :: Sweet Tooth Cravings – I have been craving cookies this week like you would not believe. There has been a general aversion to baked goods in this house for a while now… mostly because I’ve discovered that if I make them, I am the one at home with them constantly tempted to have “just one more!”. But this week I couldn’t help but flip through my Pinterest board “Cookies for Santa”. It’s almost time for my annual cookie swap and I think I’m going to test out some recipes before hand. Which reminds me I need to order peppermint oil for my macarons! 5 :: Sweet Sweet Luxembourg – As most of you know, D and I had a blast in Luxembourg last week. With considerable reluctance, I left my camera at home…. {shocking right?} but this allowed me to spend some quality time with D. I did manage to snag some picks with the good ‘ole iPhone though… so I thought I’d share the rest of those with you this week! Enjoy!
