Monday In A Moment #24 | On Getting in the Game

MONDAY

1 :: Raider Power – In my humble opinion, fall is not complete without College Football Gameday. That being said, I’m dying over here across the ocean. It’s torture having to rely on fellow facebookers or a refresh of ESPN to see the current scores of a game. Not to mention the seven hour time different makes it super hard to keep up. More often than not, I find myself checking game states the next day praying Texas Tech had another victory. This past Sunday I was psyched to learn that we still remain undefeated with our victory against West Virginia!!! Now… about that online ESPN package…. how much does it cost again??? Keep up the good work Raiders!!! We’re ranked #10!!!

2 :: Jumping on the Google+ Bandwagon – It’s true folks. I couldn’t hold out any longer. You can now follow Kirsten Ashley Photography on Google+ Local with my very own business page! Here you can catch up on the latest and greatest without getting on the FB. I really like G+ as the picture quality doesn’t have any of the resampling issues that Facebook does. Feel free to +1 my page and leave comments on the posts!

3 :: aaannnnnnnnd Twitter?!?!? –  Shocking isn’t it? I remember thinking that there was NO WAY I’d EVER join Twitter. Now look who’s tweeting once a day and can’t wait to see what Jimmy Fallon is going to say next. Holy geez. That’s the best part about Twitter. Following celebrities. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before. Who doesn’t want insight into the lives of the wealthy and famous? It’s so crazy to see Ian Somerhalder tweeting photos of himself on set of TVD…. like an average joe. Ellen DeGeneres is hilarious. Only she could deliver such great one-liners with a max of 140 characters. Feel free to follow me @kaphotograph.

4 :: Foodie at Heart – I’ve decided that my main use for Pinterest is food. Even when I’m slacking on pinning, I’m almost always pinning food. I just need to work on incorporating those delicious recipes into weekly meal planning. For as much of a planner as I am you’d think I’d be better at this, but I’m not. So here’s to this week’s inspiration full of warm intense flavored meals for gloomy autumn days. Want to keep up with all of my recipe’s on Pinterest? Follow my “Yummay” board! 1) Roast Pumpkin With Feta & Honey 2) Seared Scallops with Sweet Potato Grits and Chanterelle Mushrooms 3) Fig, Goat Cheese & Caramelized Onion Crostinis 4) Pumpkin Cheesecake Trifle 5) Concord Grape Gin Sorbet

5 :: All in favor of booties say “Aye” – Booties to me are the 21 year old college sister to the sophisticated 28 year old calf high leather boots. They come in heels of all heights and are made for just about every occasion. They are extremely popular here in Germany right now to wear with skirts. So this week I thought I’d feature some of my favorites for this season. Click on a image to shop online! 1) Franco Sarto – Vella Bootie $79.95 2) BCBGeneration – Hellen Bootie $99.95 3) Me Too – Laser Bootie $69.95 4) Ann Marino – Lido Pump $49.95 5) Impo – Prince Bootie $49.95 6) Nine West – Melo Bootie $79.95

6 :: Anniversary Love – Here’s a sneak peek of the Copeland’s who celebrated their two year anniversary in August! We finally had gorgeous weather for their session and I am psyched to edit the rest of their images!

Thanks for coming back this week! It’s my hope that MIAM brightens the beginning of your week so you can power through to the end!
