I wanted to thank EVERYONE for their kind birthday wishes yesterday! I’ve decided that being at the end of my 20’s is comforting. Like a worn in sofa you loved through college, knowing that new things are in store, but for now, you’re content to keep what you know and love. It has been such a relaxing weekend around here…. which compliments the overcast weather SO well. I think my favorite part of yesterday was the 90’s playlist lip-sync-off/dance-off between my husband and I that happened in the kitchen while making birthday cupcakes {Italian Cream Cake!! My FAV}. Who knew you could get out of breath lip-syncing to “One Week” by the Barenaked Ladies? D spoiled me so much yesterday, surprising me with the most lovely bouquet of flowers and a present of the sparkly jewelry kind! Can you say husband of the year???
Due to D getting a three day this weekend, plus the birthday festivities, the regular MIAM will return next week! I also want to give a shout out happy birthday to my birthday twins: Evan Flatley, Ted Tudor {84!! Woot!}, Jerome Leach, Calvin Clark and happy anniversary to Adam and Amanda Cramm!
