Meet the Lambersons! I was recently honored with the request to photograph an anniversary session for this beautiful and vivacious couple. When we met for a beer at the Landstuhl Castle for their Meet & Greet I was completely won over by their charming personalities. They had brought along their new puppy “Fruling” {which means Spring in German} and I was amazed at how well these two complimented each other. C & P run marathons together, they travel the world, enjoy good Italian wine, and truly love living abroad here in Germany.
The Lambersons are celebrated their second wedding anniversary this past June. It was heartwarming to witness their easy smiles and held hands. I heard the story of their first date at a Flaming Lips concert back in college where they met. During their session recollections of this event brought on happy smiles and laughter. I adore when couples truly seem to enjoy each other and work together in an invisible seamless harmony on the yin to the others yang. While C works hard for the Air Force, P has the fortunate position of teaching at the local American high school. They support each other in every aspect of their life, down to their extended families.
For their session setting we chose to shoot in Weilerbach where they often run together to train for their marathons. This was especially exciting as the Lamberson’s were able to share spots that were special to them. Their wardrobe was spot on! The dresses C chose were absolutely stunning and I would die to own both of them! My favorite was that the yellow dress had pockets! P looked super dapper in his suit blazer and tie… You have to admit they make a stunning couple! We used minimal props for the session to really let the couples relationship shine. We had a little impromptu thunderstorm during the session neither one was phased! We simply whipped out an umbrella and continued shooting!
C & P, thank you so much for letting me celebrate such a magical time in your life with the two of you. I had a blast photographing you both and you made my job so easy! Thank you for being so easy going and fun loving, and I wish you a lifetime of many happy years of marriage!
