Monday In A Moment #7 | On Wishing

MONDAY

1 :: A Dream is a wish your heart makes – I’ve dreaming up a great many things lately. I don’t quite know what inspired the wish factor… some of it is for Kirsten Ashley Photography, some of it is for my home, and most of it is for my closet. lol Never the less, there is something magical to me about making a wish. It helps you to never lose hope. So this blog post is inspired by the dreams and wishes of my heart as of lately.

2 :: Make A Wish – Spring bring about many a flower and of course Germany is no different. On one of our adventures D and I came across a field of dandelions. I have always wanted to capture a freeze frame of a dandelion being wished upon. After a ridiculous amount of tries and a very patient husband, I managed to catch this one. I wonder what he wished for?

3 :: I wish I may, I wish I might – I have always wanted a pair of Louboutin’s. Seriously, what girl doesn’t? But his spring/summer line this year has some truly outstanding additions to the Louboutin name. I couldn’t help but wish. These five pairs are exactly my taste. I hope you enjoy the clean lines and bright colors as much as I do. 1) Louboutin PIVICHIC $795.00 2) Louboutin JUNE $725.00 3) Louboutin DECOLLETE $3,395.00 4) Louboutin FLO $845.00 5) Louboutin PUGLIA $595.00 Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go rob a bank….
4 :: As you Wish – This week D is cooking dinner! He volunteered. I am so ecstatic. We’re starting with a Thai peanut dish and who knows where we’ll end up. In the meantime, I’ve been craving homemade bread. I blame the rain we’ve had in abundance lately. It always makes me want to stay home and bake. Here are some wicked awesome homemade breads to try! 1) Bialy’s – A carmelized onion buttery bread treat! 2) English Muffins – my go to and staple for breakfast! 3) Crumpets – Because who doesn’t love the Brits? 4) Focaccia Bread – Can you spell yummy?

5 :: When you wish upon a star – D has been dying (wishing) to go see the new Star Trek. We ended up finally making it to the Kino in Landstuhl on Friday night. I am in shock to announce that my husband thoroughly enjoyed a JJ Abrams film. For those of you who aren’t aware, JJ Abrams is a director my husband usually abhors. I too have to admit I was delighted with the movie. Though I am not a true “Trekkie” like my husband, I thought they did an amazing job. This movie is definitely a summer must-see! Who wouldn’t love to stare at Chris Pine‘s luminescent blue eyes for two hours? I mean, you have to love Benedict Cumberpatch… now he makes a spectacular villain. D and I have been obsessed with the BBC production “Sherlock” so we were super psyched to find out that he plays Khan. And the music? Michael Giacchino folks. I know right? (Same guy who did the Incredibles, Ratatouille, and Lost) It’s a beautiful full orchestral score. So if you’re even remotely interested in seeing this film, make your way to your local theater and buy yourself a ticket. Don’t forget your 3D glasses.

6 :: Wishing for Sunshine – The weather here has been ridiculously abnormal lately. I am still wearing my pea coat and it’s almost June. Someone want to explain that to me? I hear it’s been unusually cold around most of Europe for this season. So it’s rainy days like today that make me pull out my pictures full of sunshine. I leave you with a bright afternoon sun and a gorgeous sunset in Landstuhl.

That’s all for this Monday! Hope this inspired you to start your week refreshed and ready to conquer. Don’t forget to come back next week!
